I always knew you readers were a generous bunch. In your honor, I’ve matched my share of proceeds from book sales at the PNWA conference last weekend, and what will come from sales of An Alien’s Guide to World Domination at Jerrol’s (still time to buy your copy!), and made a donation to the North Cascades Chapter of the American Red Cross to help with relief efforts in the wake of the wildfires in Okanogan County. It’s not a fortune, considering the latest estimates are that three hundred homes have been lost. But as Linda (who was working the phones at the North Cascades Chapter this Saturday afternoon) said:
