The current incarnation of my writing career began in earnest on the weekend of MLK Jr. day, 2008. Nine years ago, when a dear friend wondered aloud why we celebrate that day with sales instead of reflection. My first book was in great part an attempt to join the conversation about love’s ability to overcome injustice. I hope all my writing is, in some way, about that.
