Happy New Year: welcome, 2018

Share your wishes, hopes, aspirations for yourself, your community, and your world in 2018. Here are a few of mine:

Laugh more; own less stuff; hold onto compassion; let go of fear; spend more time with people I love; spend less time worrying; enjoy the sensations of warm feet, cool air, and spring scents; create more art, of all kinds; finish something that is unfinished; start something that can never be finished; speak out; listen quietly; discover a new author; travel somewhere I’ve never been before; treat my hometown as if it were an exotic travel destination; lose some of my stereotypes; be intentional about how I nourish my body, mind, and spirit; show others what they mean to me; be generous; be less self-centered; find something I’ve lost; lose something I no longer need.

For our world, I wish for 2018 to bring us closer to experiencing universal humanity, to cherishing this beautiful planet that hosts us, to creating dignity, justice, compassion, and love for all.

  1. Love your aspirations! My chosen word for the year is Magic, supported by 4 more, wander and integrate with art and nature. Much love to you and Dan. I’m so grateful we get to work together on CDK. Makes me feel closer.
