The good people at The Story Behind the Book asked me to share the top-secret origins of An Alien’s Guide to World Domination. Well, if I did that, I’d have to  – never mind, with the recent stories of government scrutiny, I won’t go there. Anyway, instead, I cooked up a reasonably believable (okay, absolutely true) tale of how that story was born.
